My tank uses 40 ml of both components daily.

I do a 20 ml dose in the morning and at night.

I use a syringe to add the ALK slowly into current otherwise it really upsets my sps. You can just dump the CA in.

I suppose you could drip it like kalk, but I get good results with two doses.

I would go automated with a dosing system, but I dont like to trust anything that can crash my tank like ALK component to a device. Probably why I dont have an auto top off either. I have heard too many stories at the shop of people crashing tanks because of broken ATO's or dosing pumps. I dont play that.

我用注谢器将ALK(译者注art B:小苏打,提高KH)滴在缸的急流中,否则,我的珊瑚会有不良反应,当然你可以只是补钙

当然你也可以只添加石灰水,既补钙又能提升KH,但我滴两种(CA和KH),效果也不错


我真希望有一天自动滴定能代替人工添加,但我不动算用任何硬度提升反应器,这也是为什么我不用自动滴定器的原因,因为我听说过太多的翻缸故事,翻缸都是因为自动滴定系统出现问题,如滴定泵坏了,所以我不打算使用滴定泵. (译者注: 说了一大堆,还是人手添加,老外难道不怕麻烦不)

Well, I have been working a lot and not doing much with the tank other than maintenance.......I also had a major aiptasia problem! I got some aiptasia-x and so far so good, seems to work better than kalk or joes, but only time will tell!

I got rid of the flower anemone and made some more room for zoanthids, I still have a few types I need like tubs blues and PPE's before my collection is complete....If that ever happens lol.
