Thanks everyone or voting my tank September nTOTM!I started in this hobby several years ago with a simple 10 gallon soft coral tank. I had been keeping tanks my whole life with my father, but this would be my first reef.I soon transfered the contents of that tank into the 37g and it was born August 14th 2006. It started life as a doublesided setup between my kitchen and my living room, like a tank at a doctors office.

We moved into our current home this year and had to find a new spot for the tank. I was a little worried, but after I saw the planter on the mantle, I knew the tank hads its new home. The bottom of the tank is 4ft off the ground, and the top of the hood is just over 7 ft tall. This makes maintenance a little bit challenging, but the views of the system make it worth it.
I run this tank as simply as possible Berlin style. Experience has taught me that the more stuff you rely on to run the system, the more issues you set yourself up for. I run this tank with a few powerheads on a wave maker, E.S.V. B-Ionic, and a nice skimmer.

2 x 150W halides with 14k phoenix bulbs
2 x 65w actinic's
AquaC Remora with MJ 1200 and overflow box
3 MJ 1200s on a Natural Wave timer, 20 second cycle
300w titanium heater
1/15th HP current chiller
